Rwanda's Vision 2050: What is Rwanda's Vision for 2050

Rwanda’s Vision 2050 Articulates The Long-Term Strategic Direction For “The Rwanda We Want” And The Enabling Pathways To Achieve This Ambition. Vision 2050 Establishes The Development Framework For 2020-2050, With A Midterm Review Envisaged In 2035 And Regular Reviews Planned Every 5 Years. The Overarching Goals For Vision 2050 Are Twofold:

  • Economic Growth and Prosperity: The conference will emphasize the importance of research in driving economic growth and prosperity in Rwanda, aligning with Vision 2050’s goal of sustained economic development.

  • High Quality and Standards of Life for Rwandans: We encourage students to focus their research on areas that contribute to improving the quality of life for Rwandans, such as healthcare, education, and social well-being.
